E-JAM’s Home Care Program
E-JAM’s Home Care Program provides trained in-home personal assistants, nurses and nurse’s aides for the elderly and physically disabled, or those recovering from an illness. The program is designed to provide professional assistance, to encourage independence and to give an alternative to nursing homes and assisted living facilities. It is a great stress-relief option for family members who are not able to spend as much time taking care of their loved ones and for those who would rather have a qualified in home assistant.
Nature of Work at Client’s Home
• Blood Pressure, glucose checks
• Light Housekeeping & Laundry Service
• Companionship and conversation
• Play games & Assist with Entertainment
• Aid with reading and writing
• Visit neighbors, friends & Church Services
• Meal Preparation & Planning
• Assistance with Grocery Shopping & Doctor’s appointments
• Assistance with Hygiene & Dressing
• Medication Reminders
• Recuperation Assistance
• Registered Nurse Care
• 24-Hour Live-in Service
Flexible Hour Services:
Long or short term assignments – full time, part time, weekends, or live in, depending on clients needs.
Training/Experience of Home Care Aids
You have come to the realization that your parent(s) can no longer live alone and you are concerned about finding the right caregiver. E-JAM is aware of the importance of finding a qualified caregiver to share your parent(s), or grandparent(s) home; we will partner with you to find the ideal compatible matched candidate, who are not only qualified, but are likely to have similar personality, values and background.
All our candidates are required to meet the following minimum requirements:
A high school diploma, or equivalent and at least one year‘s experience as a caregiver preferable a geriatric setting. The majority of our registered aides have received formal training from a nursing institution, or gained experience working in nursing homes, or similar settings. All are required to undergo a criminal background and medical check.
We promise to work with family members, or other interested parties to arrange for their loved ones to maintain their independence by remaining at home.
