E-JAM maintains an interactive database of qualified and experienced candidates in a variety of work categories for hotels, resorts, country clubs, restaurants, landscaping and other service related industries. Many of our candidates have gained experience in Jamaica’s premier hotels and resorts. such as Sandals, the Ritz Carlton, the Hilton, Beaches and other hospitality facilities. Some have received formal training at vocational and tertiary institutions, such as The University of the West Indies. The University of Technology and H.E.A.R.T., who all boast an excellent degree program in hospitality.

We do the following:

- Recruit and pre-screen suitable applicants to your specifications.

- Ensure that each candidate provide an up-to-date resume, references, copy of a valid passport, photographs, medical certificate and police record.

- Service or organize your referred and/or returning applicants.

- Arrange and conduct recruiting Job Fairs.

- Arrange telephone, or webcam interviews.

- Arrange ticket purchase and travel plans for workers.


   

 

- Assist applicants with obtaining their non-immigrant visa by conducting mock interviews, preparing the application on-line, making appointments and accompanying candidates to the Embassy.

- Pre-departure orientation is held to educate the workers about rules and regulations, laws and customs (i.e. consequences of breaking contract, or U.S. laws, etc.). We also make an effort to properly orient applicants concerning on the job ethics, work attitudes and other information that will assist in their preparation for working abroad.

Visa Information

Visas are required for seasonal workers for employment between 6-12 months and we can assist you with filing the required documents with the U.S. government agencies

H2B VISA - designated for individuals, who will be employed in non-agricultural positions, which are seasonal, intermittent, or a one-time occurrence. Examples of qualifying positions include lifeguards, housekeepers, waiters, chefs, cooks, janitors, resort, landscapers, laborers and amusement park workers.

J1 VISA - designated for educational and cultural exchange programs designated by the U.S. Department of State and the Exchange Visitor Program and Designation Staff. The J1 exchange visitor program is designed to promote the interchange of persons, knowledge and skills in the fields of education, arts, and sciences.
