WORK AND TRAIN IN THE U.K.

Candidates will follow a vocational training course which includes a work placement – thus enabling candidates to work full time and be paid.

Candidates must however complete their courses as directed by the assessor or they will be breaching the terms of their entitlement to be in the UK and will be taken off the course and not legal to be in the UK.

For all positions candidates must have a professional working attitude, a pleasant manner, be willing to work as part of a team, be computer literate, and able to use your own initiative. A good English language level is required.

Experience Required

Candidates must have a minimum of three (3) years verifiable experience for all positions. Detailed references will be required in order to verify this experience. We will interview all candidates to assess their abilities and language skills.

Accommodation
The Hotel/Restaurant will source and provide accommodation for candidates, the cost for this will vary from free of charge to £60 per week. The cost of the accommodation and whether it is inclusive of bills will be detailed on each individual job specification

Uniform
This will need to be provided by the candidate unless they are advised otherwise.

Pay scale
As per the job specifications.

Rate of pay vary from region and depend on whether the employer is private or part of a group. Again rates will be detailed on each individual specification.

Course & Program Fee: £1,650
(The fee does not include airfare and visa fee).

£1,170 is payable prior to departure – the remaining £480 after one year
Candidates will be enrolled on the following course: BTEC Level 2 Diploma & Certificate in Hospitality. This course will run for a minimum of two years and will allow candidates to work and study at the same time. After a year of working, giving the candidate time to save, the remaining balance of £480 for their second year of study will be due to the college on their 13th month of placement.

On arrival to the UK candidates will go to the college for their induction on to the course. Once working they will be visited periodically by an assessor from the college who will assess their skills and capabilities in accordance with the requirements of the course. On completion of their course the candidates may be able to extend their visa and enroll on a further relevant course.

Restaurant / Function Covers: Have facility for banq / pdining / rest and lounge – they average 50 – 70covers for dinner.

No Of Staff / No in Brigade: 4 in brigade / 3 kps ( should be 7)

Job Description: This good quality hotel operation seek a junior chef to join their team. You will be responsible for food prep and mis en place as directed by senior chefs. Candidates should have relevant skills and experience and be keen to learn and develop their skills. This is a good opportunity for someone with limited experience who has enthusiasm and a desire to progress within the industry -candidates looking for financial benefits only should not apply.

Salary: £13/14k plus tips

Hours: 48 hours, 5 out of 7 days

Accommodation / Cost: Meals Accommodation is available at £30 per week. The accommodation is a 5 minute walk off site. The charge for accommodation includes meals on duty, there are no additional charges.

Job Description: Part of a small group of Hotels this 3 star hotel operation are looking for a pastry demi chef to join their team. The hotel operate three units, 1 rosette fine dining restaurant, busy Bar and C & B Facilites.
The chef will be required to prepare pastry items for all outlets inc desserts, cakes, petit fours etc Must have knowledge of fresh produce and produced a good standard of fresh food.

Location The hotel is based in the Town Centre located in the centre of the town

Job Description: High quality luxury hotel and restaurant require experience chefs to join their brigade. You will have a proven record within hotel operations and experience of restaurant and conference.
Candidates will be rotated through all sections although the fine dining rest brigade is separate. Applicants need a passion for producing high standard of cuisine and ability to cover all sections of the kitchen.
